This month has been quite eventful! We took a trip to IN where we visited Grandma Potts & Pops, Grandma Birt & Pocky B, Lola & Pocky, Alex (Uncle Carl & Aunt Sam), a couple of friends, an Apple Orchard, the Indiana Dunes, hung out with Auntie Liz & Alivia, did a Diabetes Walk, a Candy Factory, Deep River Park... came home to CO, went to the Zoo, Pumpkin Patch, Matt and I celebrated our anniversary, Tatum started Pre-School, Tatum does Tumbling, Tatum loves movies... especially Cars, carved pumpkins, made cookies, and played in the leaves... Kalina decided she wanted to start crawling on her hands and knees (had been army crawling for a quite a while), pulls herself up, cruises around, prefers to eat with her fingers rather than me using a spoon, has four teeth that have 'cut' and we are still waiting on two others, and while we wait, we'll just call her 'Fangs',

says DadDadDad (and LOVES him!!!), MomMomMom, loves to pull herself in her crib and bounce up and down when I come get her from her naps/morning, has a special 'Dad' Finger Wave, LOVES to play Peek-A-Boo~she will hide herself with a book or a doll or anything, or hide me with it and this game goes on and on and on... it's fun! :D She is really getting more interested in books- especially opening, turning pages, and closing them... Her 'Stinker Face' is becoming more prominent and hilarious, I can't help but laugh when she does it... and there are variations of the 'Stinker Face'... we 'chase' each other around the living room, crawling, and this is just hilarious entertainment. K is definitely little Miss Mischievous and Explorer... keeping up with her is definitely going to kick my butt into shape! She is definitely curious and does not like to be held in one place for long periods of time... she loves to be on the go! (on her own) She loves music and I often catch her 'dancing' while music is playing (bouncing while standing)...
The big event that was briefly mentioned was Tatum starting school.

Wow. I was not sure how I felt about her starting school. It seems silly to send her to Pre-School because I stay home with the girls, and I wasn't quite ready for her to take the first step of 'growing up'. I am scared that now that she has started school, time is just going to fly by us even faster than it already has. BUT, I am so glad we did make the decision to finally send her. She LOVES it! It gives her some social time, and Kalina and I some 'alone' time. K is still napping in the morning, but with Matt taking T to school, it gives us a couple of hours to play- just us. I love it :) In the afternoons, while K is napping, T and I get some much needed 'alone' time as well. This month we have done a bit of baking and cooking.. which, I really need to be factoring in much longer 'prep' times for baking! Having a three year old so involved in each step... lol... definitely adds some time to the preparation stage! But, I wouldn't change a thing! I love it!
What a wonderful, busy month! Life is good.
